Ready for School

Young children who go to St Helens Pre School get the tools and support they need for their healthy development. All activities are carefully designed to adequately nurture the emotional, intellectual and physical growth of our kids. Through stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities, children are free to develop into bright young minds.After they have finished their journey at pre school, they move on to the next chapter “starting school”. We do everything we can to make sure each child is ready to start school. We are lucky to have a setting on a school premises giving us the perfect opportunity to work closely with the reception team. This allows the children to become familiar with the environment and will build on their confidence.We help prepare the children for school by providing them with activities such as practicing fine motor skills, Role play, sharing books about school and giving them the chance to talk about their thoughts and feelings  about starting school.
